The district does not segregate English learners (“Els”) from their English-speaking peers, except where programmatically necessary to implement an English Learner Education (“ELE”) program. The district also ensures that ELs participate fully with their English-speaking peers and are provided support in non-core academic courses.
The district provides English learners with access to the full range of academic opportunities and supports afforded non-ELs, such as special education services, Section 504 Accommodation Plans, Title I services, career and technical education, and the supports outlined in the district's curriculum accommodation plan.
