DESE Information about CPS

The office that regulates PreK-12 public education in Massachusetts is the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). DESE makes a great deal of information about schools and school districts available to the public each year through a number of detailed reports.

The main repository of state data about CPS as a district may be found within the 2018 CPS District Profile. For information focused more specifically on results as measured by state indicators, see the 2018 CPS Accountability Report. For DESE information specific to each of our schools, click on the links below.

We are pleased that Canton Public Schools scored in the highest of the four standardized levels in the state's new accountabilty system for school year 2017-18. Results for the current school year will be announced in fall 2019.
