FirstClass to Google Migration
So...what is migration?
Migration in our context is the process of moving email from one system to another.
Canton is migrating from FirstClass (FC) to Google (G Suite).
When?
Starting July 5, all new mail will arrive to your Google mailbox, and you will no longer be able to send messages from FirstClass. The migration of all messages in user mailboxes will start on July 5 and will take about a week to complete.
What to know about July
FirstClass will continue to be accessible in a read-only mode over the summer, allowing you to log in and access your messages and other legacy content within the system. In the fall, we will decommission FirstClass, at which time all legacy content will be permanently inaccessible.
