What is SWAC?

The School Wellness Advisory Committee (SWAC) is a key element of infrastructure necessary to carry out the intent of the School Nutrition Bill and Wellness Policy. The SWAC consists of school staff and concerned community representatives to recommend, review and help implement school district policies addressing school nutrition, nutrition education, physical activity and any related issue that affect student health and well-being
