Dear families and students:

In an effort to adhere to the expectation of social distancing and to limit group gatherings, effective immediately, the Canton School District will be closing all Canton Public Schools fields, including the Memorial Turf field, basketball courts and playgrounds.  This is consistent with the Town of Canton closures communicated earlier today.  The closures will be in effect until April 7, 2020.

We understand there is a desire to be outside and practice and enjoy school venues. However, the current guidance recommends against large gatherings in places such as our facilities due to the potential of violating social distancing and spreading COVID-19. Athletic Coaches have been instructed to share and reinforce this message as well. We all need to play a role in keeping our community safe and healthy.
