Dear CPS Parents and Guardians:

As you know and as a preventative measure, Canton Public Schools are closed from today March 13, 2020 through March 20, 2020.  At this time, we are scheduled to reopen on March 23, 2020.  

And also, at this time there are no confirmed or presumptive cases of COVID-19 in the Canton community.

The decision to close school came quickly on Thursday, March 12, 2020.  While school is out, students may find it helpful to stay connected to learning activities.  We are in the process of finalizing some resources for families and students which we will share on Monday, March 16, 2020.  Our purpose is to provide optional resources that can help our students to practice learning skills and stay engaged in academics while schools are closed.  We will provide resources both online and in hard copy if preferred, such that the resources are as accessible as possible for all our students.  These resources are not curriculum nor are they intended as a replacement for instruction.

We will be back in contact on Monday, March 16, 2020 with additional information.
