Dear new student,
     Welcome to 2nd Grade...I can't wait to meet you on the first day of school!   I know that you must be getting ready to come back to the Hansen School, if you are looking for a shopping list.  I wanted give you this list, so you can start your back-to-school shopping.  I am hoping that you might see some of these items on sale over the summer.  So here goes...
        pencils & erasers- Sept. &  Jan.
         crayons - 64 count
        hard plastic pencil case (5X8 inches)
        glue stick(s) & glue
        child safe scissors    
        one-subject spiral bound character notebook
        one composition notebook
        two-pocket folder (homework)
        student pencil sharpener - the kind that
                 catches the shavings for your desk 
                    (no noise)
        white board markers & an old sock (eraser)
        a deck of cards for home – for adding/subtracting
            games at home
box(es) of tissues - Sept. & Jan.        
        roll of paper towels (optional)
disinfecting wipes and/or hand sanitizer (optional)
