Without the editors the quality of paper you see would not exist. These hard working individuals are responsible for making sure that Spectrum meets the high standards of Canton High.
| Jenny Shen is the editor-in-chief of Spectrum. She not only makes sure that the newspaper looks as good as it does but she also is a prominent member of Canton High's award winning math team, mock trial team, JSA, Tri M, National Honors Society and she plays lacrosse. When she finds that rare moment with nothing to do Jenny enjoys a mug of hot chocolate and watching the snowflakes float in the air. | Christina "Tina" Kennedy is the sports editor. Her true passion is not sports but rather okapis which are "beautiful creatures that all people should worship". Tina lives with her mother, an accountant with a love for numbers, and her father, a contractor that spoils Tina with caution tape. Christina has many hidden talents, including drinking yellow PowerAde and making "happy cards," which are cards that make people happy. She never makes happy cards for herself because she knows that she is perfect and is quite happy about that. |
| Jeffrey Cattel is the News and Editorials editor. Jeff joined Spectrum because of his love of journalism and the news. Jeff loves to talk. His parents don't know what his first word was "because I just kept talking". Jeff also likes to critique celebrities. He feels that Kirsten Dunst needs to straighten her teeth and Owen Wilson needs his nose fixed. Jeff's hobbies include going on facebook and watching trashy television like "I Love New York". | Caleb Ruvich is the online editor. He created the website and sometimes watches other people write articles if he has the time. Caleb lives alone with his parents because his three sisters have (finally!) all gone off to college. He enjoys helping people especially when it makes him look smart. Eventually Caleb wants to become a physicist and "smash atoms and such" although if that falls through he sees being an evil genius quite fulfilling.. |
| Sara Bonilla is a copy editor though her true passion does not lie with correcting grammatical mistakes but rather with art. A favorite medium of hers is plah-doh. | Justin Gaines is the photography editor. He is a self declared video game geek and has sat in front of a computer screen "longer than it is healthy to". It was an easy transition for Justin to go from in front of one screen to behind another taking pictures |
| The Features editor is Maeve Moore. She is adored by all.that meet her for less than two seconds | . Lucca Chin is the arts and entertainment editor as well as a Copy editor. She prefers to interview others for articles rather than be subjected to one herself. |
