Mr. Pantos' ART PAGE:
Welcome and hello! This site showcases the work of my
students. Click on the links.
GUIDELINES:
- Work and working are the two most important aspects
of the studio setting. Work is what we do; work is what we share; work is
what we make and it is through work and working that we grow as artists.
- Respect is the basic commodity of all classroom
interactions. Respect should flow in both directions: from students to
teacher and teacher to students. Lack of respect usually
translates into serious problems and fast. Honest, neutral and calm
statements identifying the impasse can remove the block.
- Students should be in charge of their own learning.
Students are responsible for charting with the help of me, their teacher,
an appropriate course of action.
- Doing with a clear mind and sharp focus is the best
activity in the world. Stress and tension diminishes clarity and
focus not only individually but collectively for both me as the teacher and the
students as a class.
Richard McDaniels is the author of THE DRAWING BOOK which is an excellent resource.
