Fourth grade math is a continuation of the spiraling approach used in the Everyday Math series. Students will be expected to apply concepts that were introduced in third grade, and will be introduced to concepts that they will study in depth in fifth grade. It is imperative at this point that your child know his or her computational facts: addition/multiplication and their inverse operations, subtraction/division. All future concepts are dependent on this automatic fact recall. If your child is still struggling, he or she should be studying the facts nightly. Visit the links below for on-line study help.
