About Mrs. Lund

As an educator, my philosophy acknowledges individual differences and comes with the understanding that all children do not learn the same way. Within our first-grade classroom, our day-to-day activities will be based upon this premise.

My background in teaching covers many areas. My undergraduate years were spent at Bridgewater State University, where I graduated with a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Science. Years later, I attended Lesley University, where I obtained a Master of Education degree in Special Education. I have taught in the towns of Holbrook, Mansfield, Norton, Easton, Foxboro, and Cohasset before coming to Canton. I have completed a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in the area of Reading at Bridgewater State University. I am certified in Orton-Gillingham, a specialized program in reading instruction as well as Wilson Reading. I have been a visiting lecturer in the graduate program at Bridgewater State University.

I live in Canton with my husband and four children. I like to cook and have a passion for gardening! I also love to spend time reading. Mysteries are my favorite!

I welcome you, your child, and your family to our classroom. I will encourage your child to have respect for themselves and others and to work as a learning community.
