Danny Erickson is in his 18th year as CHS Head Boys’ Soccer Coach. The 2009 team won the Hockomock League Championship and finished the season with an overall record of 14-2-4.

During his tenure the team has qualified for 12 state tournament bids including 11 of the past 13 seasons. 2009, 2008, 2006 and 1997 Hock Championships and trips to the South Sectional Final in 2007 and 2002 highlight the team's accomplishments during Erickson's tenure. The 2009 trip to the South Sectional Semi-Final marked the program's 4th straight year advancing to that game.

A 1989 graduate of CHS, Erickson played two years of soccer for the St. Anselm Hawks before transferring to Stonehill College.  He received Eastern Massachusetts Coach of the Year honors for the outstanding 2006 and 1997 seasons.  The team’s record under Erickson is 159-108-59.  He holds his NSCAA Advanced National Coaching diploma.   He has been a social studies teacher at CHS since 1995. He currently serves as the school's athletic director.  Thousands of Canton's young soccer players have gotten to know Erickson at Canton Soccer School, his annual summer soccer camp.
