Home Welcome to Third Grade
About Us

In third grade, children begin reading to learn, rather than simply learning to read. It is a year in which children are expected to work cooperatively with their peers, and are held to high standards of taking responsibility for the choices they make.. At the same time, third grade requires increased parental support as children learn to research, review, and report on higher level concepts and materials.  It is a critical year in which social, emotional, and academic growth occurs.
