About the Hansen Elementary School
     The Lt. Peter M. Hansen Elementary School is home to approximately 500 students. The school lies 11 miles outside of Boston and just off of route 128. The Hansen school is one of three elementary schools in the town of Canton.

     The Hansen School boasts of an active parent organization as well as a dedicated staff. This combination makes the Hansen a special place to attend school. The tone of the building is set by its energetic principal, John Maxwell and its assistant principal, Mary Cawley.
