Winter Sports League All-Stars Announced Fall Hockomock League
All-Stars
Softball
team captures first league victory The
Softball team fought hard to win its first league game of
the season on the road Thursday, 5-4 over North Attleboro. The
Bulldogs went ahead on a 2-run triple in the fifth by
Brianna Whelan. After losing the lead in the sixth,
Colleen Moriarty drove in the winning run in the final
inning. It was an
offensive explosion at CHS's Gibson field Thursday as the
Baseball team out-scored visiting North Attleboro, 15-10.
The Boys
Lacrosse team earned a big win at Abington on Thursday,
8-4. Malcolm Lloyd and Kyle Leavitt each had 2
goals and an assist. The duo of
Allie Boudreau and Brittany Lyons combined for 15 goals
in Thursday's 18-10 Girls Lacrosse win over Foxboro. Great
performances highlighted the Track meet at CHS on
Tuesday against Franklin. On the Boys side, Ralph
Finnis finished 2nd in the Shot put and qualified for the
States while Andrew Ha finished 2nd in the mile,
posting a time of 4:45.1. On the Girls side, Radiya
Buchanan qualified for States in the 400 and Julie
Joseph qualified in the Triple Jump. "Champions train when no one is watching" ATHLETIC Checks and
Money Orders are accepted made payable to: The Fee for the 2007-2008 school
year is $255 per sport with a family cap of
$1,020.
